After reading the many suggestions for activities and programs, meeting times, we’ve decided to meet every 6 weeks or so, vary the times, the days of the week, and have some events that will have a cost, and some that won’t. A list of activities will be published as plans are confirmed.

The next OWLS event will be Friday, April 11 at 6:00 PM at Waterline Brewing Co, 721 Surry St, in downtown Wilmington (under the CFM bridge). Parking is available. This is a family-friendly venue and they’ve agreed to offer a brief tour of their facility for us. There will be two food trucks on site: one selling tacos; the other selling hamburgers. (Please note that food trucks are always subject to change).

Everyone is responsible for paying for their own food and beverage.

To extend the evening, we could go down to the Dram Tree (close to Winnie’s) for some good rock’n’ roll music.
