Women

Groups

The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) is the women’s organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We have two groups that meet on a regular basis:

WELCA Circle 4 | First Tuesday | 1:00pm

At St. Paul’s, WELCA Circle 4 meets on the firstTuesday of the month at 1:00 pm from September-May. The circle currently meets in Keever Hall, our fellowship hall, for fellowship, a program, and to work on service projects.

Leland Women’s Group

The Leland Women’s Group meets regularly for quarterly fellowship meals. The Leland ladies also participate in many of our service events throughout the year- baking cookies for the Monday Night Meal Ministry, quilting, and creating Migrant care bags.

Caring

The women of St. Paul’s continue to support our local community organizations, the ministries of our church, and provides care and love to our church members who may be experiencing loss, illness, or are homebound.

Quilting

In addition to Circles, the Quilter’s Ministry meet biweekly during the fall and spring to sew quilts. Each fall, the Quilters choose an organization to donate made quilts. Quilts are also made available to the congregation for purchase to support the ongoing needs of the ministry.
