At St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilmington, NC, we are blessed to partner with The Warming Shelter, a ministry committed to offering refuge and care to those experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year.
Last winter, The Warming Shelter opened its doors for 10 nights, providing a warm, safe space to those in need. Operated entirely by volunteers, the shelter saw a 30% increase in use, highlighting the growing need for this life-saving outreach in our community. Beyond a place to sleep, the shelter offers meals, supplies, and a sense of dignity and hope to individuals facing unimaginable challenges.
This vital ministry relies on community support to keep its doors open. This holiday season, St. Paul’s Lutheran is raising $6,000 to cover a season’s worth of nights so that The Warming Shelter continues its mission. Your gift can make a real difference. Your gift can make a real difference, offering warmth to those who need it most during these cold winter nights.
