Stewardship COMMiTment Letter

C❤️MMiT 2022

Dear Beloved Partner in Ministry,

Thank you for being a part of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and for your generous support of our congregation’s ministry. C❤️MMiT is the theme of the St. Paul’s 2022 Stewardship Appeal. We urge you today to commit: to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ… to a personal relationship with your neighbor… to a personal relationship with this community of faith.

This letter is to help you prepare for Commitment Sunday on October 31, 2021, when you can make known your intended offering for next year.

As we look to the coming year, it is clear that God calls us to reach out to new neighbors and friends, to be wise in our planning for the future, and to keep on providing programs and ministries that meet the needs of members and of the wider community. Our hope for next year is to increase total giving by $70,000 which will cover increased expenses in our insurance, security upgrades, building maintenance, and staff health benefit.  This increase can happen as each one of us prayerfully remembers all that God has done for us in Christ Jesus and then gives a joyful and generous response.

As you pray over your offering for 2022, we respectfully ask you to consider increasing your offering. Your financial gifts are very important. Much ministry is being accomplished because of your giving. Be assured that your offering-whatever amount you give-will be appreciated.

Be ready to present your Offering Statement of Intent on Commitment Sunday, October 31, 2021. You can also present your intent online or mail it to the church office when you are ready.

Thank you for responding generously and joyfully to God’s love in Christ Jesus.

Sincerely in Christ,

St. Paul’s Stewardship Committee: Pastor Jonathan Conrad, Tom Bertelsen (chair), Nathan Askwith, Mark Bergman, Don Erickson, Kristine Hopkins, Robert Poole
